The Today's Power at TechAdvantage 2017

This was the team's second year at TechAdvantage!  This year our focus was on our commitment to cooperatives.  As a part of the cooperative footprint, we understand that other solar vendors are competitors to the cooperative and that their products are of little value to co-ops.  That is why we have created a product offering that accomplishes member's goals while benefiting the cooperative at the same time.  We partner with Electric Cooperatives throughout the entire process of procuring solar energy from the strategy phase all the way through construction and programming.

In case you were not able to meet us at TechAdvantage this year, below is a behind the scenes look at TechAdvantage 2017 and Booth #1709 as well as recap of the presentations we were able to give on the expo floor and the products we showcased during the week.

See The Difference.

This year we invited attendees to "see the difference" between our product and others on the market today.  As a wholly owned subsidiary of our G&T, Today's Power knows it takes smart, strategic planning to develop a mix of energy resources in order to continue providing the most reliable, durable, safe and responsible energy solutions to cooperatives and their members.  Our products and services are a reflection of that.

Today's Power President, Michael Henderson shares strategies on procuring solar energy during a breakout session at TechAdvantage.

Michael Henderson doubles our President and the Chief Financial Officer for The Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, and on the second day of TechAdvantage he led a breakout session titled "Strategies for Procuring Solar Energy," a presentation on how cooperative's "normally" procure solar, and what he recommends they do in the future to accomplish their goals through renewable energy.  In the clip from his presentation (above) Michael speaks on how each cooperative has a unique billing system that creates their demand for the next year, and how cooperatives should design their solar system to meet their unique needs.

During his presentation many were interested when Michael asked the question why does your cooperative want solar energy?
