Electrical Utility Distribution Partnerships


For more than 50 years, Gresco has served the utility and electrical supply needs of hundreds of customers in the Southeast region. GRESCO understands that you have commitments to fulfill with your customers, just as we do to you.



Today, RESCO is one of the largest full-line distributors of high voltage electrical products in the Midwest; supplying power cable, transformers and utility pole hardware plus high-tech systems and equipment. They provide dependable service and an assured source of reasonably priced, quality materials to all electric utility customers. 


General Pacific

General Pacific, GenPac, is one of the leading wholesale stocking distributors in the Northwest region of the United States. Serving the Electrical Utility, Water Utility and Contractor markets since 1965 has helped General Pacific build long lasting relationships with their customers by providing them with quality products and value added services.


Texas Electric Cooperatives

TEC was established in 1941 as a coalition of electric cooperatives formed to have greater bargaining leverage with power suppliers. Since its founding, TEC has advanced with the times to provide its members the services and products necessary to sustain a cooperative business in the 21st century.

Today, TEC's members include 64 distribution and 11 generation and transmission cooperatives. The association is led by President/CEO Mike Williams and is headquartered in Austin, Texas.


Western United 

Western United Electric Supply Corporation (WUE) is a member-owned not-for-profit electric utility wholesale supplier. Their members and customers are rural electric cooperatives, municipal electric utilities, investor owned electric utilities and electric utility contractors located in a seven state Rocky Mountain region.

WUE provides both material and tools to member/customers at a very competitive price which can be shipped from either of their two strategically located warehouses (Denver, CO and Albuquerque, NM) or directly from a manufacturer. The material and tools are used in the construction or maintenance of electric distribution lines (overhead and underground), transmission lines and substation projects.


Cooperative Partnerships

First Electric Cooperative

First Electric Cooperative Corporation is a not-for-profit electric distribution cooperative that was incorporated April 26, 1937, as the first electric cooperative in Arkansas under the direction of the Rural Electrification Act as signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

First Electric energized its first power lines April 15, 1938, near Jacksonville, Ark., with three employees and served 150 members.

Today, First Electric serves more than 92,000 member accounts throughout parts of 18 counties in central and southeast Arkansas. The cooperative's headquarters is located in Jacksonville, Ark., with four full-service offices in Benton, Heber Springs, Perryville and Stuttgart, Ark.


Ouachita Electric Cooperative

Ouachita Electric Cooperative based in Camden Arkansas recently reached an agreement with Today’s Power Inc. to provide a one-megawatt solar array for the cooperative. OECC provides electric service to approximately 9,400 meters across Ouachita, Calhoun, Dallas, Bradley, and Nevada counties in South Arkansas


Central Electric Cooperative

Central Electric Cooperative is a member owned organization dedicated to providing safe, reliable and economical electric energy. They are committed to providing services to improve the quality of life of their members and local communities.


Kootenai Electric Cooperative

Kootenai Electric Cooperative, Inc. (KEC) is a member-owned electric utility in Hayden, Idaho. The Cooperative provides competitively priced, quality energy services to its members and is governed by an independent seven-member elected Board of Directors. Kootenai Electric has more than 23,000 member accounts and over 2,000 miles of electric line in parts of Kootenai, Benewah, Bonner and Spokane counties. Kootenai Electric employs nearly 80 people and is the largest electric cooperative in Idaho.


Highline Electrical Association

Highline Electric Association was incorporated December 19, 1938. The first portion of the Highline Electric Association system was energized in February, 1940. Currently the distribution electric cooperative furnishes electric power to many farms, businesses and over 3,000 electric irrigation motors (totaling over 248,000 horsepower) in the service area. The system plant consists of 5,114 miles of transmission and distribution lines including 27 substations. In 1952, Highline joined with 24 other rural electric systems in Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado to form Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association. Today the Tri-State systems consist of 44 rural electric cooperatives.


North Fork Electric Cooperative

Established in 1939, NFEC now energizes over 2,523 miles of distribution line across Beckham, Roger Mills, Washita, Greer, Custer, Harmon and Dewey counties. Headquartered in Sayre, Oklahoma, they serve over 3,300 members with pride, innovation, and dedication.

They are committed to growing in size and advancing in technology to meet the challenges of serving a diverse and constantly changing set of needs and expectations from their members. Northfork Electric Cooperative strives to better the communities they serve and to improve their members' quality of life.

Jennah Denney
