Michael W. Henderson is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp. (AECC) and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc., (AECI) and President of Today’s Power, Inc. (TPI). Previously, he served as manager of treasury for AECC. He has been employed by AECC since 1984. Before joining AECC, he worked for Associated Natural Gas Co. and the Arkansas Public Service Commission.
Matt Irving, the vice president of operations for Today’s Power has 18 years in the utility industry. Before joining us at TPI, Matt served as the Facilities Manager for the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas. Since Matt has been at TPI, he has designed and led teams to construct 18 utility-scale solar arrays. Additionally, Matt has completed the education and training necessary to become a certified NACEP inaugural class of the Arkansas Business Executive Leadership Academy.
Chris Bell serves as the controller for Today’s Power, Inc. Chris has been with the company for three years. Previously, Chris worked in public accounting for BKD with a primary focus was the electric cooperative industry. Chris worked at BKD for approximately five years.
Chris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Chris is a 2011 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a Master’s Degree in Account
Dan Crews, Project Foreman for Today's Power came to us from Arkansas Highway and Transportation Dept where he led their ITS (Intelligent Traffic Systems) dept in developing their Traffic Camera and Digital Message Board Network. Dan holds many licenses to include, FCC GROL , Private Pilot, UAV Remote Pilot, Arkansas Home Inspector. His Certifications include NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate, Tower climber/builder and Instructor, Police Officer, EMT, and Firefighter, Police Firearms Instructor and Surface Transportation Inspector.
Samantha Lewis and her husband, Ray, have three children, Landen, Jade and Kami and currently reside in Benton, Arkansas. She earned her BBA degree in Accounting and her MBA from Henderson State University in 2000/2001. Right out of college Samantha began her career in public accounting with BKD, LLP primarily auditing Cooperatives and not-for-profit entities. In 2007 she came to work for Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (AECI) and had most recently filled the role as Senior Controller up until January of 2018, when she accepted the Director-Finance position with AECC/AECI/TPI. Samantha feels blessed to have the opportunity to work with so many talented people throughout Arkansas and to learn more about the Cooperatives.
Samantha is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Arkansas Society of CPAs, and has completed the University of Arkansas’s Emerging Leaders Program.
Robbie Berry serves Today’s Power as our Project Foreman. Since 2015, Robbie has managed over 18 utility-scale solar projects across Arkansas and Oklahoma. Robbie joined the Today’s Power team after 30 years experience in the electrical industry, three of which he spent working at Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc.
Jennah Denney, an award-winning advertiser, is the Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator for Today’s Power. Specializing in Marketing, Public Relations, and Communication, Jennah joined the Today’s Power team as the WOW Coordinator in 2016 after graduating from the University of Central Arkansas. Since joining the Today's Power, Jennah has assisted with utility programming, cooperative event planning, and communication, and has been involved with the addition of electric vehicles and charging stations to TPI's product line,
Jon Majors, Electrician for Today's Power came to us from Fleming Electric where he spent 14 years. His Certifications include master electrician and electrical inspector. He is responsible for all of the maintenance of our solar projects and installation of electric vehicle charging stations.
Kelly Comer, Supervisor of Administration & Corp. Counsel joined the TPI team in November of 2018. Most recently, Kelly served as the Director of Policy and Corporate Relations for the Arkansas Advanced Energy Association. Kelly earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville and her BSBA, Cum Laude, in Financial Management and Investments from the Walton College of Business.
Keaghan Economon, Electrical Engineer, joined Today’s Power in January of 2018. Keaghan earned his Electrical Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines. Before Joining TPI, Keaghan was an Engineering Intern with Xcel Energy for two years and then worked for an engineering consulting firm that worked with large manufacturing plants. Since joining TPI, Keaghan has assisted in the design, product procurement, and installation of commercial and utility-scale solar arrays. Keaghan has also been involved with the addition of energy storage solutions to TPI’s product line.
Bruce Woodson joined the Today’s Power team as the first official employee in 2015. With a background in finance and two years as vice president of operations at Uniserve Construction, Bruce now serves at the warehouse supervisor for Today’s Power.
